Artist Talk: Meleko Mokgosi Rush Rhees Library Humanities Center Conference Room D Friday, February 24, 2017 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM The talk is organized with the Fredrick Douglass Institute for African & African-American Studies and the Department of Art & Art History at the University of Rochester, this series of programs will contextualize the MAG’s exhibition of Meleko Mokgosi’s Pax Kaffraria within the current discourse on African art and culture.

Tomorrow! Artist Talk and Receptions for The Land(ing) | 4pm Artist Talk in Humanities Center Room D | 5-7pm Receptions in AsIs Gallery and Art/Music Library Gallery. The Land(ing), an exhibition by University of Rochester alumni, Owen Marc Laurion, includes a variety of contemporary works addressing the American history of occupying landscapes. There’s not better way to spend Valentine’s Day. There will be pink walls. There will be food. And there will be ART.
