MAPPING examines the shifting concepts of maps and mapping. The exhibition moves beyond the traditional cartography to explore how the idea of a ‘map’ is changing. We are interested in a range of ideas including; ideas mapping the self; using photos as maps; mapping movement across time; the reciprocal way in which maps affect contemporary language and concepts and the visual ways we map data.
