The University of Rochester’s Department of Art and Art History is delighted to present the 2026 Senior Thesis Exhibitions. The upcoming events will feature the works of 11 Studio Art majors who will showcase their recent art production in exhibitions both on and off campus from April 16 to May 17, 2026.
Students will present individual thesis projects developed over two semesters through sustained research, revision, and experimentation across a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, textiles, bookmaking, food, quilting, and immersive installation.
Through these works, students engage in a range of themes such as cultural identity, witchcraft, humor, environmental concerns, liminality, perception, family histories, accumulation, desire, dreams, and more. The scope of these projects reflects the multiplicity of approaches that define our Studio Art program.
We hope to see you at the openings! Follow Sage Art Center for previews!
