The University of Rochester’s Department of Art and Art History is pleased to invite you to their annual senior Studio Art majors group exhibition. (IN)TANGIBLE will be on view in the ASIS Gallery, Sage Art Center, November 30-December 12, 2023.
Students will present individual projects researched and developed throughout the semester in various media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. With these recent artworks, students address multiple topics and questions such as self-representation and identity, environmental concerns, myth construction, the built environment, storytelling, and our complex relationship to technologies. The breadth and scope of the work attest to the diversity of approaches and distinct visions that are the hallmark of the studio art program at the University of Rochester. A gallery tour with short artist talks will take place on December 7th at 4 p.m., followed by a reception. This event is free and open to all.
Artists in the exhibition: Fatimah Al Dulaimee, Julia Berkman, Yinqi Fang, Hana Genana, Rachel Kamata, Seana Lanias, Dustin Paden & Zoe Zhang.
