The University of Rochester’s Department of Art and Art History invites you to the group exhibition of their eighteen senior Studio Art majors. All Things Considered will be on view in the ASIS Gallery, Sage Art Center, November 23-December 12, 2022.
Students will present individual projects researched, revised, and developed throughout the semester in various media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video and installation. Students’ address self-representation and identity, environmental concerns, myth construction, and the build environment and they intersect with graph design, fashion, mass media and popular culture among others to do so. The breadth and scope of the work attest to the diversity of approaches and distinct visions that are the hallmark of the studio art program at the University of Rochester. An artist talk will take place on November 29 from 2-3:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 4-6 p.m.
