Raad’s works include The Atlas Group, a fifteen-year project between 1989 and 2004 about the contemporary history of Lebanon, and the ongoing projects Scratching on Things I Could Disavow and Sweet Talk: Commissions (Beirut). His books include Walkthrough, The Truth Will Be Known When The Last Witness Is Dead, My Neck Is Thinner Than A Hair, Let’s Be Honest The Weather Helped, and Scratching on Things I Could Disavow. Call for art submissions - due March 1, 2018

The Coalition for Crime Victims of Monroe County is looking for art submissions for an upcoming exhibition, "Illuminate the Night." The work submitted is encouraged to capture the experience of healing to those who have been impacted by crime. All mediums are welcome to be submitted. Works of art can be submitted via digital image to and the deadline is March 1st.

Poster-design competition open now through Jan. 31 for Rochester Music Hall of Fame 2018 ceremony NEWS RELEASE- Nov. 30, 2017 ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Rochester Music Hall of Fame is accepting entries for its 2017 Poster Design Competition now through Jan. 31, 2018. The winning design will be selected by the RMHF Board of Directors and used to promote the 2018 induction ceremony, taking place at Eastman Theatre on April 22. All ages and skill levels are eligible. Suggested themes are Rochester and also music in general.
